Lindsay Tabata is a graduate of the University of Calgary’s Master of Counselling Psychology program. Her professional experience includes crisis work, supporting students in a school environment, and counselling youth and adults with mental health concerns.
Lindsay believes the therapeutic relationship provides the foundation for client change to take place. She uses an integrative approach that primarily draws on dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy (AEDP). Lindsay believes that individuals have innate strength and resilience, and her aim is to help each client uncover and draw on these inner resources.
