Dr. Kline is a Registered Psychologist working in Mental Health in different regions of Canada since 1985. He obtained a B.A. in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and a M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo. He is a Lifetime member of the Canadian Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association. He has also been listed with the Canadian Register of Health Service Psychologists since 1987. He is registered in four legal jurisdictions in Canada including with the College of Psychologists of BC. Dr. Kline is also registered as a Clinical Psychologist in New Zealand and was awarded the status of Diplomate in Professional Psychotherapy by the International Academy of Behavioral Medicine, Counseling and Psychotherapy in 2004.
Dr. Kline has extensive experience working with individuals and groups from many different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. He has worked in many multi-disciplinary settings including University, Government Community Mental Health Clinics, Hospitals and in Private Practice. Dr. Kline also worked for many years with the Canadian Armed Forces Mental Health Services which included working with Members suffering with trauma-related PTSD. In addition, he also has training and experience working with children, youth, couples and families. Dr. Kline offers broad-based psychological treatment (psychotherapy) using an eclectic, evidence-based approach to individuals of all ages, couples and families involving a full spectrum of problems and issues. For many years, Dr. Kline has helped people to successfully re-balance their lives and increase healthier functioning.
