Acceptance helps reduce what people experience as negative. That is only half of the solution to improving one’s quality of life, however. Focusing on positive experiences is very helpful. The goal is to allow the positive thoughts to enter your mind and focus on keeping them there. This helps one to overcome the negative and to be more positive.
People often do not notice how much positive is in their lives. Slowing down and enjoying with positive moments, rather than running from one thing to the next, can be very helpful. Being aware, and experiencing and expressing appreciation does work.
